Paris Line

Despite having made architecture, drawing hand height has never been my forte. Perhaps that is the reason why I admire so much to those who demonstrate a talent in this difficult art, and if there is someone that stands out above all of them is Robinson, a German illustrator of the 1960s author of wonders as Paris line Line by line (Paris).

It’s a book about the city of love inside which we find a myriad of thorough and detailed illustrations made with the peculiar self-proclaimed X-ray technique, since it represents the buildings both from outside and from the inside, not always showing what the eye sees, but that the mind expects to be.

In its pages we enjoy, for example, a view of the city from Montmartre where we we not only saw the great monuments, but also the hustle and bustle of the streets and life that takes place in them. They are also very interesting the elevations of facades that performs, really spectacular and full of details.

A book to which I will try to get your hands as soon as it goes on sale March 19 (just the father’s day), over priced quite tempting for between 15 and 20 euros. But if you can not wait, know that it is already published a book earlier and equally recommended (but more expensive): New York line.
